Ticket to the Thames New Years Eve Ticket Sales Terms and Conditions

  • King Cruises Ltd is an authorised agent to partner companies operating New Years Eve Cruises on the River Thames,  Said companies include: Viscount Cruises, Complete Pleasure Boats, Absolute Party Cruises, Reeds River Cruises and Colliers Launches. 
  • A £35 per ticket deposit is required upon booking and the final balance will be due by 30th September 2011.  Payment  can be made by personal or business cheque/bank transfer or by our online payment system.  We will not be accepting credit cards or debit cards for New Years Eve bookings.
  • All cruises with the exception of the King Edward Party Cruise have non reseverable seating.  This is strictly on a first come first served basis.
  • Cruises will vary in buffet content.  Most part will be cold finger buffets with the exception of the King Edward Party Cruise.  Any persons with special dietary requirements must inform King Cruises Ltd upon booking.  King Cruises Ltd and partner companies cannot ensure that all requirements are met but will comply where possible.
  • All cruises will load 15 minutes prior to embarkation time and return to the loading point 15 minutes before the finish time to allow “drinking up time”.  The disco will also cease at this time and the bar will close.  This is a legal requirement as set out by the vessels governing council.
  • All cruises will carry the full passenger quota.  The guidelines for passenger numbers are set by the Marine and Coastguard Agency.
  • Any persons  seeming to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol before boarding will be refused entry and all monies paid will be forfeited.  If any person is found to be under the influence of drugs whilst on board, the boat will dock and said persons will be removed from the cruise.  Thus applies to any person behaving in an unruly or aggressive manner.  In such instances the Thames River Police will be informed.  All decisions made by the captain are final.
  • All inclusive drinks packages operate on all vessels.  Specified drinks are wines, draught and bottled beers and soft drinks.  Spirits and Champagne are available to purchase on board all vessels.  Champagne should be pre ordered at the start of the event.   The drinks package is not unlimited.  Service will be refused to any person should the staff decide that they are intoxicated.   For health and safety reasons some cruises will serve drinks in plastic cups.
  • Complaints should first be heard whilst onboard.  You must speak to a member of staff to rectify any problems in the first instance.  If your complaint cannot be resolved on board, please address your written complaint to King Cruises Ltd who will notify the partner company.  The partner company will then contact you directly.
  • King Cruises Ltd and partner companies accept no responsibility for late arrivals.  The vessels will sail at the specified time and cannot return.  All ticket holders must ensure they have a planned route before they leave.  All piers are within easy access of train/tube stations.
  • All vessels will be within sight of the New Years Eve fireworks.  Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure unimpeded views King Cruises Ltd cannot guarantee this.
  • New Years Eve is a very busy night in London.  The cruises accommodate persons from the age of 25 +.  All cruises are marketed as disco cruises and therefore clientele is vast and diverse.
  • All cancellations will incur a £10 administration fee and are subject to the companies discretion.  Agreed refunds will be processed after the event.
  • Road and bridge closures will be in operation around Westminster and Festival Piers.  Information in regards to these will be disclosed to all clients.  This will also be available to view on our websites www.kingcruises.com and www.tickettothethames.com
  • Tickets will be in pdf form and will be emailed at least 4 weeks prior to the event.  Clients must ensure that they have their ticket for entrance to the pier and vessel.  King Cruises Ltd and partner companies accept no responsibility for lost or misplaced tickets.
  • Dress code is smart casual – no trainers, baseball caps or hoods.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they arrive promptly for embarkation onto the vessel at the designated place and time. The company takes no responsibility for any means of transport to or from the place of vessel embarkation and it should be appreciated, by the customer, that access routes in and around London and the surrounding areas are subject to closure without notice.
  • The company will not offer any form of refund or compensation to customers who fail to arrive at the specified location in time for embarkation for any reason whatsoever. This clause is without prejudice to the companies' obligation to provide the service advertised for ticket holders present for embarkation at the agreed location and time.
  • Information lines will be open until 9pm on New Years Eve.  Staff are not able to give directions or contact any vessel.  The information line is open for general enquiries only.
